System Developer – Lumera VietnamWhat is your workday like at Lumera?
Here in Hanoi, I believe we are the earliest birds in the whole Lumera. Usually I start my day by fighting traffic to get to the office. After that, I plan ahead by checking the calendar to see what is prioritized for the day. Then I spend my morning coding, fixing bugs, or discussing between our team in Hanoi. In the afternoon, we normally have a few meetings to sync up with the rest of our teammates from Sweden. Between the meetings, sometimes here in Hanoi office we have a short break to catch up and blow off steam among ourselves.
What is the most developmental aspect of your job?
A lot of innovative and redefined concepts that open a whole new perspective to me. Not only do the problems often lead me to improve my core knowledge, but also create an opportunity for me to contribute to make the product better.
How would you describe Lumera as a workplace in just a few words?
Multinational, hardcore, and lots of room for personal development.
What do you do when you are not working at Lumera?
Almost every week I hang out with my friends and share our stories. Other than that, I always want to find something new to learn or try.
