What is your workday like at Lumera as a Test Analyst?

My day begins by turning on my laptop, checking emails, and reviewing my calendar to prioritize tasks. I then dive into my work, which typically involves executing manual tests to understand functionality, test coverage, and data requirements, as well as adding new automation tests. I also spend time designing and maintaining test scripts. Throughout the day, we have a few meetings to share updates and discuss progress, keeping the team aligned. It’s a good balance of focused work and collaboration, which keeps things interesting.

What is the most developmental aspect of your job?

While working on this, I explored various test frameworks, gathered suggestions from colleagues, and learned from different sources and platforms. I experimented with new approaches and implemented what I learned, incorporating new utilities and best practices into the framework. This experience has not only enhanced the framework but also deepened my understanding of automation testing and significantly advanced my technical skills.
