What does your workday as a System Developer at Lumera look like?

I start my day energized, checking the calendar and emails to plan a productive day. Then I start with the working tasks, followed by interesting tech discussions and fun code reviews. We rarely work solo - pair programming is a favorite! It keeps things clear and helps us all learn every day.

We also have a lot of opportunities to meet and discuss with another team in Lumera. This interaction enhances our understanding of our product and enriches the working culture across teams.

The best part? Fika! Tea, coffee, and chats about life outside work build strong connections and team spirit.

What do you find most beneficial for your professional growth in this role?

Try my best to focus on problem-solving by using technical knowledge and communication skills. I love facing challenging tasks. Don't treat a solution as right or wrong, just if it is suitable, or not.
