Solution Architect – Lumera Sweden"Great colleagues are working on a complex system together, and you are never done learning."
Why did you decide to join Lumera?
As a new graduate, I didn't know what type of work I was looking for, but when I found the job description at Lumera, it spoke to me. Working closely with customers, helping them find solutions, and navigating in a complex environment sounded just like what I wanted to do. I started as an Application Consultant and became the link between technology and the customer. After a few years, I got the opportunity to work closer to the customer as a Solution Architect, participating in high-level and detailed planning alongside architects, product owners, and business/product stakeholders.
What do you do as a Solution Architect at Lumera?
It differs quite a lot. In some periods, there are bigger projects that take up most of my time where I get to focus on long-term solutions. Other times it can vary with smaller customer orders and all hands-on deck when something unexpected happens in the production environment.
What do you find most beneficial for your professional growth in this role?
The strive to find good solutions that don't veer off from the idea that the system is a standard product. It makes you work closely with other people with different skill sets to put the problem and solution in a bigger picture.
What do you do when you are not working?
I like to relax by watching football, playing some video games, having a board game night with friends, or just going out enjoying nature on a run or a walk.
