Senior Test Analyst – Automation
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis at ITM. They will develop a great understanding of the product and the technologies used. They will work closely with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issue quickly, ensuring that our product meet the highest standards of quality. Candidate should have good understanding of agile methodology principles and to implement same on the product.
Skills Required
Technical Skills – Must Haves
• C#, Specflow, Selenium, NUnit, TDD, BDD, API Testing , Automation Testing, SQL
• Should have experience in selenium test automation with any programming language C#.
• Proficient in using test automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver to develop automation testing scripts for web-based applications
• Experience about software Testing concepts , STLC and SDLC.
• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Specflow, BDD, NUnit, TDD or similar.
• Should be able to Work in Agile and
• Experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Experience in the development of Hybrid framework using Page Object
• Model with TDD and BDD approach Sound knowledge on Object Oriented
• Programming (OOPs) concepts.
• Should be able to support design and maintenance of automation test framework.
• Should be able to support automation test design, maintenance, execution and analysis of test report.
• Should have knowledge in any test management tools JIRA /TFS.
• Should have Knowledge on GIT repositories for source code management
• Execute test plans and manage all testing activities, including basic manual and full-fledged automated tests to ensure end-to-end coverage.
• Document test results and follow up with development team for resolving issues.
• Should be able to perform all testing related activities in the project.
• Should be able to drive new initiatives in test automation.
• Hold and facilitates test case reviews with cross- functional team members.
• Isolate, replicate and report defects and verify defect fixes.
• Ensure tickets are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner.
• Create automated test scripts for API endpoints using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or custom scripts.
• Strong understanding of API protocols such as REST and SOAP, including familiarity with HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH).
• Review test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand API specifications and requirements.
Technical Skills – Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Worked on Performance Testing.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps would be an advantage.
- AWS experience.
- PostgreSQL Database experience is a plus.
Non-Technical Skills
- Strong focus on detail to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
- Focused on Test Initiatives for the team.
- Positive attitude to working together and delivering as a team.
- Able to guide and mentor more junior team members.
Work Experience and Notice Period
- 6+ years industry experience.
