What does a typical Software Developer day look like at Lumera?

My workday is dynamic and challenging. It typically starts with a team meeting to discuss the goals and progress of ongoing projects. I spend a significant portion of the day collaborating with team members, providing guidance, assisting in problem-solving, and staying updated on industry trends and technologies. As a team leader, I also participate in discussions with other departments, such as product management and quality assurance, to ensure smooth project execution. Apart from that, I allocate time for individual coding and development tasks, as well as reviewing code and providing feedback to team members.

What do you find most beneficial for your professional growth in this role?

It is the continuous learning and growth it offers. As a software developer and team leader, technology evolves rapidly, and keeping up with the latest tools, frameworks, and best practices is crucial.

What do you do when you are not working?

I like sports, particularly running and playing football. Also, I like to socialize with friends. I am an expat, so living and working abroad has been quite exciting and challenging at the same time. I consider that as my biggest accomplishment in life.
