Ingeborg Wiik
Pension Consultant – Lumera Norway"I have enjoyed being involved in the release process of our system solution and contributing to shaping it."
Why did you decide to join Lumera?
I wanted to work at Lumera because I got a very positive impression of the people who work here and the opportunities at Lumera during the recruitment process. High expertise and a young environment made Lumera the right choice for me. And of course, I was enticed by the weekly Wednesday cake!
What is your workday as a Pension Consultant like?
A typical day for me involves a mix of administrative tasks and customer interactions. I engage daily with our customers and their members, manage monthly pension payments, process pension applications, and contribute to system development. Additionally, my workday also includes engaging in conversations by the coffee machine.
What do you find most beneficial for your professional growth in this role?
Every day, I learn new things about pensions and insurance, a field I had limited knowledge of before starting here. I also enjoy being involved in the release process of our system solution. This role has provided me with deep insight into the development process and allows me to actively contribute to shaping it.
How would you describe Lumera as a workplace in just a few words?
It is a supportive atmosphere with fun and engaging work.
What do you do when you are not working?
In my spare time, I enjoy going on long hikes in the forest with my dog, reading books, and gaming with friends and family.
